Let's pray for Air Asia Flight QZ8501~
I just heard this news to my friend that lives in Indonesia, this is about a plane that was missing since yesterday morning. It is Air Asia Flight QZ8501, the plane took off Surabaya Juanda International Airport around 6:30am (Singapore Time). This plane is going to Singapore, the travel time is roughly 45 minutes, after few minutes the pilot of the plane requested to fly at 38,000 feet to avoid clouds due to some wheather disturbances.
I felt really sad about what happened, especially the plane has 162 passengers including the staffs, most of them are Indonesians. Based on the news I've read in Google, some of them are people who will be married soon, fiances, and etc.. When I've read the article, I experienced goose bumps.
Let's pray for them guys, especially my viewers in Singapore. I'm still here in Singapore and waiting for some news. I hope the plane will now find by the rescuers.
According to BBC News the plane must be "at the bottom of the sea" . But we're still hoping..
I know prayers would help a lot, whether we have different religions, I guess that is the only thing we can give as of now.
Love,
Michelle

Singapore HAUL! ^_^
Hi Friends!
Just want to share with you my haul, (Items I bought here in Singapore) don't worry all items are very affordable. :)
NOTE: The Dollar Sign I used is for Singapore Dollars (SGD)
PHP to SGD - 33.74 Php to 1 Sgd
USD to SGD- 1 Usd to 1.32 Sgd
This rate is based on Google.com, the amount is still depending on the money changer you will go to.
On my 2nd day in the said country, we went to this grocery store. It's my first time to encounter a supermarket that has 2 floors. This is ShengSiong, all the goods/products are affordable. From our place, I need to ride 2 buses to arrive here, not that far.
I bought this tissue at ShengSiong, it's Kleenex Limited Edition, I decided to buy this because it costs me $ 2.50 dollars for 2 packs. I noticed that groceries here love promotions or sales. Or maybe it's just depends on the season?
I also bought this at ShengSiong for $ 1. 90. I decided to buy this one because I've seen this to an online shop but no time to buy, we also don't have it here in Philippines.
After we went to ShengSiong, we stayed at Causeway to look for some stuffs and do some window shopping, I decided to buy some chocolate, the first shop I went to was 2 for $ 10 which is quiet expensive, then my brother tour me to another shop that sells this Snickers mini bar for $ 2.50 and Kitkat for $ 4.00. Not bad I guess?
Since my hands turned cold when we had our first flight, I bought myself a pair of gloves. As usual, it's color pink. My favorite, this is $ 5.50 also from Causeway.
Every morning we go to market near Admiralty station, there are 2 groceries stores. I bought this Oreos in Giant Grocery, 2 for $ 2.60. I chose Strawberry flavor and Vanilla.
This also from Giant, Crunchie Chocolate bar by Cadbury, I love these chocolates! Though it's very sweet. It's like a royal jelly in texture, based from the grocery stores I've went to. Giant is the one who has this chocolate. Each bar costs me $ 1.70.
Another tissue, as you all know I'm a tissue addict, I bought this for $ 1.50 I just want to try this Paseo.
My sister and I also bought Pepero; 3 for $ 2.60 I want to buy also but I've changed my mind. Haha! Anyway, these are what I bought. Hope this post might help you in terms of their price range. Thank you for viewing/reading! Love, love!

Tutorial: How I Fill-in My Brows!
I have here some quick tips on how to fill-in your brows! Especially for beginners, so stay back and relax. :)
You will be needing the following:
- Eyebrow Pencil/ Powder/ Gel (depends on your preference)
- Spooly brush/ eyebrow brush/ angled brush (depends on your preference)
- Concealer (optional)
I'm using my Nichido Eyebrow Pencil in Brown, I have a blogpost about this product you may check it out. http://michveesjourney.blogspot.com/2014/11/review-nichido-eyebrow-pencil-in-brown.html
Also I will use my Spooly brush from my Easy Drawing Eyebrow Pencil.
Okay, so the first thing you need to do to fill-in your brows is to outline it. See to it that you outline your brows correctly.
Brow Outline |
Once you're done outlining your brow, you put some amount of pencil or powder on the mid to tail area and start brushing. NOTE: Don't put too much of the product on the brow head because it must be the lightest part of your brow. While the mid to tail must be the medium to dark color.
In outlining, you can create Arches that you want, whether it is High Arch, or just simple brows, straight brows like Koreans do.
I'm using this brush from Etude House, this is the only brush I use for everyday.
VIOLA! You will have a perfect brow shape! Then proceed to the next brow.
Again, start outlining then once finished you may now start brushing it. I prefer brushing the middle first up to tail then the last would be the brow head since that is the hardest part to do.
I also don't know why my face looks like this. Haha, anyway. If you want to achieve a very neat looking brows, you may highlight them by the use of a matte white eye shadow or just a concealer, put that on your brow bone. It is optional.
Hope this tutorial helps you to fill-in your brows especially for beginners! I hope you guys enjoy! Thank you for reading! Love, love, love!!
Stay Tuned on how I groom my brows! See you Friends! :*

Experience SINGAPORE!
Hi Friends! Welcome to my Blog! Like what I've said on my previous blog post, we will be in Singapore to have a family vacation, and yes! We're here! We left the Philippines last Dec 22, 2014 our flight was in evening. It was my first time to ride in a plane that's why I felt mixed of emotions.
My Family (Family Shirts) |
We went to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 and we flight via JetStar. As a first timer I experienced coldness all over my body due to nervousness, I was really afraid of heights. I was beside the window. The travel time is 3 hours and 10 minutes. We also experienced just a mild turbulence and it made me scared.
Inside the Plane :) |
When we are about to land, I thought the plane might bounce like what happened in a cartoon, but don't worry it's not, haha! the feeling is like in an elevator that goes down.
Then final step! Immigration in Singapore! This procedure took for how many minutes only. Don't worry it will not take an hour.
Tadaa! Our unit, I could say that this country (Singapore) is such a very clean place, vehicles don't have smoke, all organized, you could not ask for more.
I noticed that they have many Nationalities, which made me confused because in Philippines we only have Filipinos and few Chinese/Koreans.
They have an Up and Down bus like this which we don't have in Philippines, also as you can see on the photo that the grass is very green.
They also have conjoined bus as I say? Which we don't have in Philippines as well. The main transportation of people here are buses and trains. No Jeepney that's why they don't experience traffic as much Philippines does.
The route of each bus is written in numbers, so if you will go to a certain place you need to find a bus that will pass through that street, like bus 903. Then you will wait for that. Unlike here, there is a name written like, Quiapo, LRT Cubao, etc.
The good thing about this country is that they have the ticket, which is good for buses and trains. You have to reload this ticket once you are running out of load. This ticket will expire after couple of years? So you will just buy a new one if you misused or misplace it. That means you will use this for how many months or years. To use this you will tap the ticket to the machine, you will see your balance there as well. I suggest that we also have here in Philippines, so the driver will just drive and no need to have Conductors to get the fare from the passengers.
They also have bus stop, wherein the bus will stop on certain places only they will not stop wherever and whenever you like.
Me inside a bus (Conjoined bus as I call it) |
Since we are all tired, it's time to eat! This is Pork Char Seuw, this meal is for $3 (Sgd) not bad, it's yummy!
After having a great meal. We went to a Grocery store, that store was Sheng Siong. The grocery store has 2 floors, the 1st floor is good for wet goods such as Pork, chicken and other goods that can be seen in a market, vegetables are also included in this section. The 2nd floor is all dry goods. Oatmeal, for hygiene, etc.
In their 1st floor, we captured this frog. They also have other seafoods ALIVE! like fish, crabs, lobsters and other clams.
Prices are good. Like if you have $ 50 (Sgd) it's quite enough if you want to buy things for your friends. Like a dollar products and others. But I prefer if you have 100-200 dollars (Sgd) that would be great. 1 SGD is equivalent to Php 33. 00.
Overall, I like to stay here. When it's already 6pm the sun still rising, unlike in Philippines 5:30pm it's already dark. It will start to dark when it's around 7pm or so. I don't see houses, more of a Condo, so this country has so many buildings. The driver seat also is in their right side, unlike in Philippines it's on our left.
So that's it for today, I hope you enjoyed reading! See you on my next post, love, love, love!

I Michelle's Photography I
We all know that taking photos are very important because it helps us to capture the important happenings in our lives. If ever we are not able to remember those events through pictures we are able to see vividly what happened and able to laugh again.
This is my sample photo, from our backyard. As you can see on my previous blog post about St. Ives, I decided to put the product on the plant so it will have an extra design, and so I decided to take a picture of this flower. Very simple yet the beautiful.
Another flower, I love how my camera focuses on the object I want. The camera that I'm using is just an ordinary DigiCam. It is Canon Powershot A2200 HD in Red.
The price of this camera was around Php 5000, it is not expensive as other cameras. But right now you can buy this for Php 3000? I guess. Because it's been 2 years since we bought this.
St. Ives Apricot Scrub |
This is St. Ives Apricot Scrub, together with the flower. This photo is very basic, bare with me.. But even it's just a normal photo, I highly appreciate it, it's already once of my masterpieces. :)
How about yours? Feel free to post any pictures or masterpieces you have. I will of course appreciate it. Can't wait to see them. Thank you Guys! :)
Michelle,
St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub (Prevents Blemishes and Minimizes Pores)
Are you suffering from large pores? Blackheads and whiteheads? Even blemishes? If yes, then we have the same problem, that's why this product captured my attention and decided to buy one to test it out.
St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub 170g |
I bought this in Watsons for Php 197. 00 or approx. USD 4. 40 . I don't know if it's cheap or expensive. But anyway, the product contains 170g they also have the smaller container 28g but the price is Php 187. 00 therefore I bought the bigger container since I will just add Php 10. 00.
At the back of the packaging you will see some information about the product. It also says that the exfoliation factor is in deep, which is a deep cleansing product to remove all the oils/ dirt/ bacteria on your face.
There are also Warnings/ Directions how to use/ Purpose/ and many more. This is made by Unilever, but as I read other comments, other countries such us US have St. Ives products that are made by St. Ives Laboratories not Unilever and it is more effective compare the St.Ives of Unilever, but we'll see.
The scent of this is sooo amazing! I really love it, very refreshing.. It's hard to describe the smell of an Apricot since we don't have it here in the Philippines, but it's just the smell of a soap? or a night cream? I forgot but the smell is familiar. Don't worry the smell is really good, you will love it as well.
Can you see the beads? Based from the facial scrubs I used before, the beads were not like this. This St.Ives really has big beads really good to scrub all over your face. It doesn't melts easily as other scrubs do. Like Pond's, etc..
It is Oil-Free Salicylic Acne Medication and has 100% Natural Exfoliants. Sulfate Free and Paraben Free.
See the huge beads? |
Time to exfoliate my nose! To remove blackheads from forming :) |
After I washed my face with this product, it became so soft and smooth, I love the result. The beads were not painful as what you think, still tolerable. On the back of the packaging it says that you can use this one to three times a day but when dryness occur you may use this once a day or every other day.
But since it is a scrub, I don't recommend to use it once a day or every other day, maybe twice a week is fine.
Also, this product will help you to prevent blemishes and it minimizes pores as well. I hope it will work because I really need to treat those problems on my face.
After you clean your face by the use of facial wash or any facial cleansers. It is time to use this product on your face. So don't be confused about Facial Wash and Facial Scrub.
Rating: 4.5/5 (I'm still observing this product)
Pros:
- The smell is good
- Beads don't melt easily
- Does its job.
- It's just really a face scrub not a facial wash
- Packaging wise
- Available in Watsons and other Department Stores
- Available in 5 selections depends on the skin type you have
Cons:
- It's quite expensive
Hope you guys enjoy reading my blog! See you on my next post! Love, love, love!!

Review: Ellips Hair Vitamin with Jojoba and Moroccan Oil
Hi Friends! It's been a while since i haven't post a blog due to my hectic schedule but don't worry because I have my new review about this hair vitamin!
This is from Ellips, the brand is not that popular but I always see this in some stores like Watsons and Mercury Drug and so I gave it a try since the price is affordable. For Php 38. 50 or USD 0. 86 you may now have it.
It comes in a capsule like this, then you're going to grip or tear the pointed part to get the vitamin. It's my first time to use this product and honestly I don't like to use any products on my hair due to my tardiness in terms of application.
Once you're done you will put the vitamin on your palm then rub your hands together to make it even.
TAKE NOTE: If you're going to apply this on your hair see to it that your hair is slightly damp because the vitamin will not adhere when it is dry. Or because the vitamin will not get into hair once it is dry.
ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
The smell is not that good, for me. BUT BUT! we have different types of opinion, maybe the fragrant is not that pungent nor too sweet for me but for you it's good, I could say that it is still tolerable so there's nothing to worry about.
In 1 pack it contains 6 pcs. of capsules. For each capsule I guess it covered my medium length; thick hair. The smell stays for how many hours and it made my hair so smooth and soft.
For the price of Php 38.50 I guess it's not bad it just speaks the price of it.
You will use this when your hair is damp, not dry. See to it that you will NOT RINSE your hair after you put it, it's like a leave-on vitamin. As I read the instructions, there is no special things will happen to your hair, it will just healthy.. I guess?
Rating: 3/5
I guess I'm 50-50 satisfied and not that satisfied. I don't know if I will repurchase because I still have remaining capsules.
Pros:
- Affordable
- Easy to find
- Easy to use
Cons:
- Smell (But tolerable)
Hope you guys enjoy and see you on my next post!
Love,
Michelle

My life as a Teacher
Hi Friends!
I want to share something with you, I've been quiet busy for these past few days because I have already my OJT (On the Job Training). As far as you know friends, I am taking up Secondary Education, right now I'm a Student Teacher in one of the public schools in my city.
It is my first time to be here, I thought I would be assigned in my Alma Mater, I felt quiet sad and frustrated. My first week was not that bad nor good.
Then I asked my students about their previous topic, they were in Adverbs and Adjectives. However, they kept on saying that the Adverb on the sentence that I gave was 'We' then I asked them if they discussed the Parts of Speech like the Nouns, Pronouns, and they answered me in a sad face.
Now I realized why God assigned me to this school, because my students expecting so much from me. I know God is good. However, since they are 9th Grader and already matured there are times that they are very noisy and wild. Though that is the life of High School Students..
I also felt bad when some of the students asked me a question and I wasn't able to answer it. I felt so stupid and bad about myself. Anyway, I still love this profession, I just always tell myself that 'why I am here? God gave me a purpose isn't it? ' and by that it makes me stronger.
I just want to share this with you guys. Teaching is not an easy profession, or shall I say it is not really a profession it's actually a calling.. Because you will be needing tons and tons of patience to face all your students, and yes the quotation is true that there would be no Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers when there is no Teacher.
I know the salary is not that high, but you have plenty lovable students. You actually touch their lives to become a better individual in the future.
Also, my motto in life is that.. Teaching is not about letting your students graduated from their schools, or having a diploma or certificate. But letting them apply what they have learned from you, and that's effective teaching comes in.
Hope you guys enjoy reading my story. Godbless love lots!
