Review: Nichido Eyebrow Pencil in Brown~

Hi Friends!

Without brows, we feel incomplete? Do you agree? Yes? No? Maybe? I don't understand?

Do you want to fill in your brows but don't have enough money to buy pencils/powders? There's nothing worry because you can fill in your brows now! Through this! Nichido Eyebrow Pencil in Brown.

I know that most of us girls cannot go outside without brows. Makeup Gurus said that eyes are the soul, and eyebrows are the window. Uhhh, Did I say it right? :O

Nichido Eyebrow Pencil

This is the product that I'm talking about, I've been using Eyebrow Pencils since before but I noticed that pencils are quite expensive, I'm on a budget yet cannot leave my brows plain, and so I found this product in Watsons and guess what? It's only 36.50 Pesos (Php) or $ 0. 81 (Usd) isn't that cheap? So I bought it and gave it a try.

This is a manual pencil, which needs to be sharpened, it's not that big as well. I guess it's half of a regular pencil.

Swatch at the back of my hand
My hair is brown black, I have dark brown eyes. I guess this color is good on me. Though they don't have a tester and the packaging was sealed. This product has only 2 shades, the brown and the black one.

I like the formula of this because it is not that creamy or waxy, It is also easy to apply and easy to blend with a brush.

I observed that it has the same shade as my Etude House Easy Brow Pencil in the shade of No.1 Dark Brown.

Using Nichido's Eyebrow Pencil in Brown

The color is not that vibrant and it really matches on my hair color. Now, I'm complete. :)

We must look first what hair color we have before choosing the right shade, to make it more natural and to emphasize the real beauty of our brows.

Rating: 4.5/5

PROS:

- Affordable
- Easy to find
- Easy to blend
- Good formula
- No smell at all
- Can use for a long time
- Not easy to break

CONS:

- No brush included

Hope this review might be helpful!

Thank you for viewing/reading, see you on my next blog post! :)

Review: Wet N Wild Megalast Lipstick in Cherry Bomb~

Hi  Friends!

I have here my new review about this Wet N Wild Megalast lipstick in Cherry Bomb. I started to love this lipstick when I was looking for a perfect dupe for Mac Diva.

We all know that Mac is really that expensive so if we're on a budget, perfect dupe is a must.

I want to have Mac Diva so badly because I want the color of a reddish-brown in somewhat a plum color. At the same time this shade is perfect for -Ber months.

I bought this online for the price of 185 Pesos (Php) or $ 4.11 (Usd). Yes, it's expensive because they need to pay for the tax, yet I guess it costs only a dollar in the US? But compare this to Malls that will cost you 299.00 Pesos (Php) or $ 6.64 (Usd), then I prefer buying it online to save more money.

Packaging: Since the price is really that cheap, there's nothing to assume regarding on the packaging itself. It's just a very simple packaging with a plain cap and has the brand on it. The cap tends to get dirt from the lipstick that's why sometimes you need to clean the cap if you have time, or if it's fine with you seeing the cap like that then it depends on you.

Smell/Scent: For me it smells like a cola, I don't know if you smell it the same but it doesn't have a pungent smell which is good for a drugstore lipstick.

Characteristics: This lipstick is Matte and it says to stay for at least 4 hours, maybe without drinking or eating? But because the color is dark and hard to rid off, it stays for me for at least 5-6 hours. But if I just use it as stain, then it stayed for like 3-4 hours.

It is Matte but it's very creamy, a plus point for me. Because other Matte lipsticks tend to mattify your lips and make it chapped, but this Wet N Wild Megalast Lipstick is moisturizing your lips and since it has a matte property it will last for hours.

I guess this brand has 26 shades? So there's a lot to choose from.

I have here my swatch at the back of my hand, the left is 1 layer and when I wiped it off that's how it looks like. Since I chose a deep color it leaves a stain. Stain is good if ever you cannot wear a dark lip color. Or if you are shy to wear it.

The top left picture is my bare lips, super pale. then the top right: I put 1 coat of the lipstick, it's very pigmented you all need a 1 glide to see the true color of it. Then the left bottom picture is the second layer, as you can see it looks really a Mac Diva, 2 coats are good if you want to achieve a deep - vampy color, and the last photo (Sorry about the caption) that is when I wiped off the lipstick, it leaves a stain like a light pink to fuchsia color. I used the stain if ever I go to school then apply just a bit of lipstick for the desired color.

Mac Diva (Photo from Google.com)

This is Mac Diva, so for the price of $ 16 (Usd)? But you can get the same color, same quality I guess for the price of 185.00 Pesos (Php) then why not?

Overall my rating for this is : 4.5/5

This is a great drugstore brand. Highly recommend to everyone, especially if you are looking for a Matte finish yet non-drying.

If you are interested you may buy this lipstick at: https://www.facebook.com/BeautyLiciousDeals18

Pros:

- Affordable (online)
- Many sellers online
- Many shades to choose from
- Matte yet creamy
- Stays for long hours
- Doesn't have pungent smell

Cons:

- The packaging itself

Review: FreeBra (Silicone Bra)~

Hi Friends!

Photo from Google.com

Are you having a problem in wearing Backless tops? Dresses? Do you want to wear it but the straps of your bra are visible? You have a backless dress however it is not padded? I have a solution for that!

Tadaaa! Don't worry girls, we have the same problem. I want to wear backless however I'm afraid that my bra straps might be visible, I don't want to wear plastic straps because I don't trust it either. I was looking for this! Thank God I found one! I bought this in Divisoria for the price of 200 pesos (Php) or $ 4.45 (USD).

The packaging is quite simple, there is a plastic on the middle where in you can see the silicone bra. They also have sizes such as A,B,C,D.

Contents: 100% Polyurethane outer covering and filled with 100% Silicone.

At the back are the instructions and suggestions that you need to read before you start using this product.

Instructions for Application:

DO NOT USE moisturizers, perfumes, powders or other skin care products prior to use, as this will reduce the effect of the adhesive.

CLEAN YOUR SKIN Gently clean your chest area with mild soap and water to remove body oil and residue from skin. Dry your skin with a soft towel.

PLACE ONE SIDE ON AT A TIME Stand in front of the mirror. Flip the cup outward while holding the bra cup by the edges with both bands, position the cup to yourdesired breast angle and gently smooth the cup edges firmly to the breast with your fingertips. Repeat the same application on your other breast, being sure both sides are equal in height.

CONNECT THE FRONT CLOSURE Then with both hands on the bra cups press firmly for a few seconds to secure the hold. Now you are ready to enjoy the total freedom and comfort of your Freebra.

- Silicone bra cups with adhesive inside cups, plus front closure for cleavage and lift
- Soft and natural silicone cups that are totally seamless and invisible under sheer clothing
- Self-adhesive cups are WASHABLE, REUSABLE, and easy to care for. Simply clean with soap and water, then air-dry. Once dried, the adhesive regenerates itself
-Choose your TRUE bra cup size when making the purchase.

This is the side of the box, it says that Backless, Invisible, Strapless, Seamless, Low Cut and Magic.

Once I opened the box, this is how it looks like there is a plastic container at the top and bottom to protect the product.

This is how it looks like as I removed the top plastic container, it's in a clear pinky shade. When I touched it I found, it really cute and makes me wanna bite or pinch it all the time. Haha,

This is the bra on the other side, there are plastics that support the adhesive against dirt or dust.

It comes also in clear straps, which is good if you are afraid that the bra might fall. You may put this one for extra protection.

I wore this yesterday, at first I thought it might fall, but I was wrong I wore this for 6 hours and still good and intact, it is not itchy as other people might think. Another thing is you can move freely because there's no pain happening in your chest area because of the wire from a typical bra.

It will also make your breasts more bouncy because there is no wire to support.

When I removed it, it doesn't hurt so much. NO pain at all, just see to it you follow the instructions properly so it will last for the whole day. If you are into hesitation, you may use the clear straps.

So there you have it! I wish you find this helpful, You may buy this in all lingerie shop I guess? Regardless of the brand, so now you can wear Backless dress, especially for the Holidays, Proms, Parties or just a regular day.

Eyelashes OVERLOAD!

Hi Friends!

Welcome to my Blog! I want to share with you guys the eyelashes I bought recently. We all know that girls really love lashes! It's one of our best assets, in this World we have different types of lashes like natural, dramatic, or somewhat feathery that good for special events.

I bought these lashes in Divisoria for the price of 100 pesos (Php) or roughly $ 2.22 (Usd). Yes, it's quite cheap because for that price you may now have 10 pairs and the lashes are not that thick like a plastic material, it's very thin and soft like a natural hair.

Eyelashes # 138

This #138 is quite dramatic for me, but I like the design because the inner side is short then the outer side is long, these lashes are perfect if you have a cat eye or just simply eyeliner. I guess this is not good for everyday use since the hair strands are long, but when you use this in party or any other events, these lashes might be perfect.

Also, the packaging is just simple as this, comes in a white box with a heart shape in the middle, has a plastic so you can see the design of your lashes and at the right bottom part is where the number is attached. There is a word Taiwan and other words written in chinese that of course I don't understand but for sure it says "Eyelashes" . Haha!

Eyelashes # 216

The next I purchased is this one #216 once you saw it you already know that this is good for everyday use, the strands are not that long, the design is very simple, nothing special.

I decided to try this one because I'm planning to wear this in school. I'd used my Nichido Eyelash Adhesive it costs me 60 Pesos (Php) or $1.33 USD. This is available in all Watsons Nationwide and all Nichido's outlet.

Yes, I know it's small haha.

Left - With lashes / Right- Without

Take Note: My lashes are not yet curled on this picture, the left eye has lashes on it, you can tell that it's very natural, it looks like I put mascara on it to make it longer.

Both lashes applied

My eyes have now lashes on, I was really fascinated and started to fall in love with these babies! For the price of 100 Php I now have these natural looking false lashes, I also looked like I applied black eyeliner on my lids because of the band.

Overall, I love this #216! I haven't tried the #138 but if ever I'm going to try it I will make a blog post for that, I promise!

Review: Mary Kay Beauty Blotters Oil-Absorbing Tissues

Oily Skin? Oily Face? Here's the solution!

I also have an oily face, especially on my T-Zone Area and I hate the fact that every time I'm talking to someone he/she is looking on my T-Zone because of the shiny sparkling oil and not on my eyes.

I found a perfect solution for that! Though I've been using oil blotters since before, I already tried Kleenex, Clean N Clear, Finess and this! Finally, Mary Kay Beauty Blotters Oil-Absorbing Tissues! Though the name is so long, the product will never go wrong!

Finess Oil Control Sheet

This is the packaging of Finess, I could say that this is the cheaper alternative for Mary Kay it will cost you only 30+ pesos and less than 40+ pesos for 100 sheets. They have different kinds to choose from. I chose this Green Tea Scent, the price speaks the packaging itself so there's nothing to assume about having a good packaging. But the quality is good. You can also use this to clean your eyeglasses or camera lens. This product is available in all Watsons nationwide.

Mary Kay Beauty Blotters Oil-Absorbing Tissues

I love this product so much! The packaging is very classy, elegant, and you can't imagine that it's a blotting sheet since it looks just a tissue holder. The sheet is quite big compare to other blotters I've mentioned above, it doesn't have a pungent smell as well, ( I guess all blotters doesn't have smell.)

It contains 75 sheets of the product, since we don't have Mary Kay in the Market or groceries I bought this online for 90 pesos. The price is good I could say compare to other brands which will cost you 120 + pesos for 50 sheets.

The tissue is quite big and will cover all the oils of your face. Basically, if I use Finess, I can use up to 2 or 3 sheets in one usage. At first, I thought my face was really oily or maybe the sheet was just small. But when I used this MK Blotters, I used only 1 sheet and still has some spaces, I was very fascinated with this product and I could say that I highly recommend this to everyone.

At the same time, it is paper material which is good if you are OC like me ( OC in the sense that I want a paper material than a plastic oil blotter). Finess is paper material also.

MK Left - Finess Right

As comparison, I used MK when I woke up in the morning to test it out. We all admit that every morning our face is full of oil, I thought MK is not enough to get rid all the oil but it made me wrong, for 1 sheet it made my face really matte and the oil was gone, after I washed my face I didn't apply a powder to oil up my face even faster.

Then I used the Finess to compare it with MK and guess what? Yes, I used 2 sheets.

In terms of practicality, I could say that you can save lots of money in MK because you need 1 sheet to cover all your face. However, if you are afraid to order online or having a problem in terms of shipping then you might try the Finess. It works good as well.

Overall, I love MK Blotters. If I were to choose among the 4 blotters, (Kleenex, Clean N Clear, Finess or MK),

I would choose Mary Kay Beauty Blotters Oil-Absorbing Tissues. I highly recommend this to everyone :) also, I saw this MK because Ms. Anne also using this one. (Ms. Anne Clutz, Pinay Youtuber)

My Rating: 5/5

Pros:
- The sheet is big
- Very classy, elegant looking
- Very smooth, soft
- Paper material
- Can cover all the oil on your face
- Very affordable
- The packaging is very fit, can fit anywhere (Pouches, wallets, sling bags)

Cons
- No shop available in the malls
- Need to order online

My Fall Makeup Look 2014!

Hi there guys! It's been a while since I haven't make a blog, but now I want to share to you my Fall Makeup Look!

I was very intrigue with this kind of look, since this season is more on a Vampy shade of lipsticks or just a nude one. Since Philippines didn't have this fall season, it makes me motivated to do this tutorial.

This is where I get the idea

So Basically, Fall look in other countries is the time where you put vampy lipsticks, either dark plum or brownish red, or maybe a black one.

This is my eye-make-up tutorial. (Sorry because it's not yet perfect, I'm not yet a professional.)
So I just tried it, and honestly, it's so hard to blend the eye shadow without having a blending brush.

So the No.1 is just a bare face, then I applied a yellow eye shadow on the eyes, then I put a violet on my crease area and v-area, I chose violet so it will match on my lips. Then I draw a wing on my eyes, I applied falsies on each half of my eye, then do my lips.

I also do contouring, blushing, and curling my lashes.

And here's my final look! <3

On my lips, I have the perfect dupe of Mac Diva which is Wet N Wild Megalast lipstick in Cherry Bomb 918D.  I super love it!

Products used:

- Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Sand Beige
- Maybelline New York Clear Smooth All in one Shine-free cake powder in Nude Beige
- Etude House Drawing Eyebrow in No.1 Dark Brown
- Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Vibrant Spice
- Avon Glimmersticks eye liner in Blackest Black
- Fanny Serrano Eyelash Curler
- Avon Face Pearls
- Nichido Eyeshadow in Black Pearl
- Wet N Wild Megalast Lipstick in Cherry Bomb
- Falsies
- Nichido Eyelash Glue

Thank you! Hope you Guys enjoy! Love, love, love!

Love,

Michelle
