WTH: What The "Hoax" (Cosmic Rays Issue)

Couple of days ago, there was a text message that made the whole country alert! Guess what was it? Well, it was about "Comic Rays Radiation". At first, once you read the message you will shock and don't know what to do especially it was stated that it came from BBC News, and other text says it came from PAG-ASA (Weather Forecast in the Philippines).

Photo from Google

This is the actual text message it's very detailed isn't it? However the annoying thing is that it's a chain message. Like, spread this message bla bla.. pass this to other people you may know.

I searched it on Google, and it was said that this issue was first disseminated during 2008, Imagine, it's been 6 years and people still trying to make this issue popular for once again..

I also found in one website says that this issue is just a "Hoax" (wow big word). I searched it on my dictionary and found the meaning, now I'm comfortable enough to sleep. The meaning is : deceive or trick somebody as a joke.

Therefore, it is not an object. I see...

So I posted on my Facebook and asked about this, whether it is true or not.. Then my friend commented "what will fall under Earth?" and someone commented again and said "Hoax will fall" and I was like (sigh *.*) I searched it again on the dictionary if there's another meaning of Hoax, however I wasn't able to find one. Therefore the only meaning is to deceive or trick other people. Whew.. Haha..

So yeah. But you know what. I also turned off my phone and gadgets. Coz whether it is true or not " I was scared, really scared" and I don't wanna die yet. haha..

So that's it. Lesson learned: Don't believe in text messages okay?

Godbless guys!

Michelle

My Story: Online 101

Hi! This is Michelle, I would like to share to you guys how my boyfriend and I started our Online Relationship.

Before I start the story, I would like first to introduce some of my hobbies (before).. Well, I was a gamer, I guess until now? Most of the games I played were Counter Strike, Left for Dead, Ragnarok, and my most favorite offline game was Yuri's Revenge. It all started when my younger brother taught me to try those stuffs and eventually fell in loved with it. Especially if I'm bored sometimes playing games will make you feel better.

So the story goes like this: Since before (2nd year high school I guess?) I already played Ragnarok Online and my first server was AvalonRO the capacity of this server is up to 500 persons only. At first it's quiet difficult on my part because it's a game for boys. However, I know that there are still girls playing it, especially there are also "pets". Since the said server is until 2nd job only, sometimes once you reach the final or level of your character, and once you buy all the things that needed by your character, we tend to feel bored already..

So after couple of years, my brother installed a new server and it was EssenceRO I guess the total capacity for this is like 15,000.. Not sure, but I knew it was thousands.. So for you to have many items, of course you need to please someone.. During that time, I was like "noob" so that they can have a pity on me. haha! And I saw someone has a pet, and I asked for a pet as well, then he gave me.. However my pet is already hungry, though I know where and when to get the food, what I did was I ask and request someone to lend me a "yellow herb" (food of my pet "drops")... Nobody was able to notice me, maybe people were very busy doing stuffs,  I guess I was doing that for 30 minutes.. and I said... if someone will give me a yellow herb.. I will surely entertain him.. no matter how busy he is...

Yeah I was like a martyr.. waiting for someone.. But guess what? It's worth the wait :) someone lent me a yellow herb, oh btw.. EssenceRO is a 3rd job server.. and so the guy who lent me was Wargmon; a ranger... I got shocked because he traded me that thing, and I said.. okay I'm gonna talk him now.. Since that is an international server, I spoke everyone in English, so I messaged him.. I said "hi.. thanks for the yellow herb.. I'm bla bla.. and so and soo." then we had some chit chat... I asked him where he came from, and he said I'm from Philippines... and I was like "spoke in Filipino" I was laughing..

Me: Where in Philippines? (I said this in Filipino)
Him: NCR
Me: NCR is so huge, can you please tell the exact place?
Him: Pasig City

( Couple of months had passed my uncle died and buried in Pasig area, so I mentioned so many places in Pasig yet he didn't know it. )

Me: Where in Pasig? specific please. T.T
Him: Boundary of Pasig and Cainta.. Cainta to be particular
Me: Near Sta.Lucia Mall?
Him: Yes...

( So I was likee... waaahhh (my ears were laughinggg) *.* ) Very near in my place...

Me: So where do you study?
Him: In UST..
Me: ( Oh Gawwwddd! he must be handsome *.* My ears laughed again.. waaahh )

And so everyday after my school, I used to online and chat him.. I don't know why, but I'm sure you can relate.. The feeling is mutual.. It's like you wait that person to be online.. and once he/she online you're very excited to chat him... (with smiling eyes and face) :))

Review: Megan Purifying Nose Strips

Hi Guys and Girls! Today's review is about Megan Purifying Nose Strips. I actually bought this at 7/11 and the price is affordable, it costs me only 40+ php, ( I forgot the exact price ).

Left: The cover of Nose strips, Right: the back cover of Nose strips

So that's the packaging looks like. It consists of 4 nose strips and I'd chose the pink one which is Enriched with Rose extracts, I guess they have 2 varieties of nose strips.

Shiny surface of the strip

Rough surface of the strip

At first, those are quiet cute because of the color. Ohmaygee.. it's pink!

At the back corner of the packaging you will see the directions on how to use the product.

Step 1: You must wipe your nose with a clean water.
Step 2: Tear off the nose strip sachet and peel of the nose strip from the plastic liner.
Step 3: Place the shiny surface (the pink one) on the moistened nose, press and smooth out evenly.
Step 4: Wait for 10-15 minutes, until the strip has dried.
Step 5: Slowly peel the strip from the edges. If the strip sticks too strong and is painful to remove, wet the nose until the strip is easy to peel.
Step 6: Wash off the remaining residue with water.

There are also cautions on using the strips:
1. Once the sachet is opened, immediately use the strip.
2. Do not use on wounded, irritated, broken or burned skin.
3. Use 1 to 2 times per week.
4. Use only on the nose area. Avoid contact with eyes.

Overall, my verdict is..... T.T

I don't like it, the packaging looks good. It looks effective but it's not for me. I know that I followed the directions correctly because I'm using nose strips since before it's just so happened that it's not really effective for me, and it doesn't adhere so much on my nose. Err.. The price speaks the quality it has.

There are only few whiteheads that were taken off from my nose, and I wasn't really that satisfied though.. (I was like, that's it? *duck face*) Maybe I'll go back to Glamworks, they're nose strips are very good. Highly recommended.

Pros:
- Affordable

Cons:
- Not so effective
- Only have 2 choices
- Doesn't adhere so much

Rating: 2/5

Will I buy again? I guess no.. T.T Honestly, I just used 1 strip, so I still have 3 strips left. I don't like to use it anymore.

Maybe it's just because on my skin, there are things that good on me but bad on you. Bad on you, but good on me.. You may also try it, don't forget to share your reviews! xoxo :*

Michelle

Seeking for a Blank Verse ~

An example of a Blank Verse

I have here an example of a Blank Verse written by Julius Caesar, as all you know blank verse doesn't have any rhymes. However, not because it is "blank" it may no longer contains meter. The said form of poetry must have an Iambic Pentameter, so it must have 5 feet/meters.

This is the blank verse that I've made earlier.

Seeking for My Soul

I am in an isle, searching for my soul
and waiting for someone to help me with
but no one came, I've now felt the disgust
I was shouting, but no one could hear me;
planning to escape, but I'm so fatigue
I'm crying yet only breeze wipes my tears
Now my soul is gone, I felt the emptiness;
And so I fell, tired, helpless, cold and pale.

Honestly, I couldn't think of any title and idea. So the analysis of this poem is very simple. There was a girl, left alone.. not necessarily in an isle, but can be in a room.. She thought searching her self might be good. Until eventually she's tired and seeking for help, but no one could hear her, because the isle is too far, the room was locked.. she was now experiencing famine, longing for food and water, longing for people that makes her life happy.. But no one arrived, no one came.. It's like she never exists,, She was planning to escape with this kind of reality, but there was no door, no boat or even light... and only the breeze appreciates her, help her to lessen the pain by wiping her tears... Until the soul of her was gone, and no longer breathing.. The girl that you'd left, already alone and dead..

Dead in the sense that, you are lifeless, like the quote "It is better to be alone than being with someone who makes you feel alone" . Sometimes though we have circle of friends, we tend to feel out of place, it's like we're not existing. Until eventually, you want to be in a dark place to think.. you thought it's right and good. But it just turned into a gap between you and your friends that makes your life helpless....

Protect the people who cared to you the most, you will only know their importance when they're already gone. Especially our parents, friends and relatives that made our life whole and delighted. Don't forget to say I love you, or even Thank you.. So they would feel that they are existing and not like just a robot.

Thank You and I Love You! :))

Love,

Michelle
