Review: EB Advance BB Cream in Whitening (Oriental)

Hi there!

Are you looking for a BB cream that is affordable? Let me share this with you, this is a local brand so it's available locally whether in Mercury, Watsons, 7/11, SM Dept. Store, Robinsons, etc. 

BB cream is like a liquid formula, other people might think it's the same with foundation, maybe at some point, yes? BB means Blemish Balm , so I believe it will cover my blemishes? We'll see.

This product costs me Php 220.00 or around $ 5 USD , it weighs 50ml of the product which is quiet big compare to other bb creams out there.

They also have 2 variants and 2 shades only. The first shade is this one, Oriental (Whitening) and the second one is Natural (Anti-Wrinkle) .

Oriental has a yellow undertone which is good for Asian skin, while Natural has somewhat pink undertone.

The smell is addicting for me, sounds ridiculous? But yeah, it's like I've smelled this before, but still tolerable maybe if you are very sensitive in smell you will not able to like it.

Like what I've said, it has a yellow undertone, and once you blend it see to it you keep on blending  because the formula dries very quick. On the photo above, I had a swatch of lipstick then I blended the BB cream and so the lipstick swatch was concealed.

I started to apply it on the right side of my face (left side on the picture), and see the before and after of it.

Can you spot the difference? the other side covered some of my blemishes, under eye circles and gives me a bit matte finish.

Final look!

This is my final look, maybe my face was a bit white due to the powder I'd used, but anyway I'm liking it, at the same time the longer you have it, the better the result. It will turn to a somewhat dewy finish? Which adds a glowing effect on your face. Also, it really matches on the color of my neck so I don't need to do the 1 shade darker idea.

Pros:

- longevity is good; your face might oil up but once you blot it the BB cream is still there 

- covers a bit but not too much; it clears my redness ; light-medium coverage

- Yellow undertone which is good for Filipinos

- Affordable and easy to find

- Easy to blend; gives you a matte finish but later will become somewhat dewy

- The smell doesn't bother me (though other people might hate the smell)

- big tube ; 50ml for a bb cream

-travel friendly

Cons:

- only 2 shades are available

- no expiration date

- the smell? it's hard to describe but it smells like a medicine?

Overall, like what I've said above... I'm liking it, and a lot of people notice the radiance of my face, it's very affordable, however. I've read other reviews that they experienced breakouts after few days of using the said product. Maybe you must try the tester first then if you didn't have any reactions after few hours or so, then try to grab one. 

The formula for me is quiet thick, but still easy to blend and feels nothing on your face. It's thick but not as thick as other foundations. Still manageable, my face still breathes. 

I highly recommend this to everybody that even the brand is local still has a good quality. Thumbs up!

Cough? Sore Throat? Loss of Voice? Try This! PEI PA KOA REVIEW!

Hi everybody!

I was absent in school for 3 days due to my sore throat and fever. >.< I heard this product to the Youtuber I used to watch, and also to my friends. They said that this product works so great and so I gave it a try..

My Mom bought me this Ming's Pei Pa Koa Candies , I prefer the syrup one because I find it more concentrated compare to this candy.. But since it's out of stock, I don't have a choice. :)

This is how it looks like, it's just an ordinary candy but yes, it gives me a relief that what I need.. Example, I'm coughing so hard to death.. I'm just going to eat this candy and VIOLA! lessen the pain and gives me a great relief.. I find this better compare to Strepsils...

This product is made from herbals, so it means its organic.. so there's nothing to worry about harmful chemicals.

My mom bought this for 2 packs for Php 130 or roughly $ 3 USD..

At the back of the packaging says that:

- It has a soothing substance that is used to relieve irritated throat and a medicine that is used to treat coughs, it helps prevent dryness of throat caused by late night's fatigue, excessive smoking and drinking..

(I don't smoke nor drink, I guess I got this sore throat due to my OJT, (shouting the students to keep quiet ) XD

So yes, it's effective to threat the irritated throat. :))

Especially if you find your throat itchy, this one is better to try! :))

Accessories for my Instax Mini 8 ^_^

Hello there guys!

I want to share these stuffs with you so if ever you want to purchase you Instax Camera or buy some accessories of it, you will have an idea about the price. :)

I bought all these stuffs on Instagram the account is : @passiongadgetsph

I ordered this last monday and viola! It arrived last Tuesday, and take note! the package was from Davao, which is really far from our place. The courier is JRS, shipping fee is Php 120, I don't know if they ship internationally, but if you have questions feel free to ask them :) . The transaction is really fast! I thought I would wait 2-3 days before it arrives, but no.. It took only 1 day :))

Clear case for Mini 8

They have different types of cases such as Leather, transparent glow in the dark case and this one. I chose this because I find it really cute and really perfect for travelling, so people could see that you have this cute camera. However, if I'm going to use this somewhere in Manila, I guess it's not advisable.. I prefer the leather one, but for vacation yes, this one is perfect! I bought this for Php 500 or $ 11 USD.

It really protects the camera against dirt and other mini flying objects. haha

Photo stands

These miniature frames for Php 150 / 5 pcs.. Or $ 3.40 / 5pcs USD, It's good to put on your table, so once you are busy doing some paper works and you look at it you can remember those memories you had during that time and you will suddenly smile. :)

More films please!

I also bought films from their shop. My tip for you guys, if you want to buy plenty of films it's better if you buy it online because it's more cheaper compare in malls. BUT! if you're just going to buy 1 pack of it, then check out some of the malls. :))

Their twinpack cost me Php 630 or $ 14 USD.

They also have printed films, I guess they have all the films from simple to colorful ones and also cartoon characters.

Selfie lens / Mirror lens

In Instax 7s and 8, we don't have the so called "selfie or mirror lens" that's why sometimes it's hard to take a picture because we don't know if we're taking it correctly. So we have a solution for that, I bought this for Php 250 or $ 6 USD. They also have different colors depending on the color of your camera.

It also has a zoom in but just a minimal difference.

Photo Album

And lastly, if we have Instax see to it that we also have our albums! I bought this in Fujifilm store for Php 30 , or less than a dollar.

Review: Nichido Minerals Precise Eye Pencil in Chestnut

Hi there loves!


We all know that girls can't live the house without filling in their brows.. Am I right? Or it's just my opinion? Haha, but anyway... I just want to share this with you my new eyebrow pencil.

As you all know, I've been a fan of Nichido cosmetics since before, their products are really affordable yet quality approved!

I also did a review about their eyebrow pencil, and now I'm going to have another review about this Mineral Precise Eye Pencil in Chestnut . I guess this pencil is really popular that makes me intrigue to have it.

This is how it looks like, it's just an ordinary eyebrow pencil but the pencil itself is came from ordinary wood that make this product called "minerals" ? . There are 3 or 4 shades to choose from if I'm not mistaken.

I chose the shade of Chestnut, since it's the most popular shade (Filipina skin tone XD) .

I bought this in Watsons for Php 138. 00 or $ 3 USD,

So let's not apply it: On blending the product, choose your best brush. Either spooly or angled or the normal eyebrow brush which I prefer to use.

My bare brows are ready to be filled! :))

TADAAA!!! Hey! it's not the pimple I'm showing huh.. it's my brows! haha. sorry for that pimple on my forehead.. anyway, it complements on my skin tone and my hair color.

It also looks natural on me since I have a brown black hair. The product is very easy to blend because it's very waxy.. so see to it you outline your brows perfectly because sometimes it's hard to erase if the product is waxy..

As I noticed, small amount goes a long way, if you apply too much of the product you will have very thick brows which is not advisable.

I guess 1 pencil can lasts up to 2 months or so? because you just really need to apply small amount of it. :)) at the same time the price is really affordable.

How to and Review: Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 in Pink! ^_^

Do you want to capture all the memories that you will have? Like, taking selfies with your friends in a wonderful and relaxing place? Yes, you may use your phone but no time to develop the pictures? Do you want to live in a vintage way in saving the memories? Don't worry! Because the Polaroid is back!!! Or shall I say, the Fujifilm Instax Camera is here! Yey!

Packaging itself

This is Instax Mini 8 in Pastel Pink. I've been loving this since last year, but I didn't have enough money to buy it. haha! but now, my eldest brother gave this to me as my graduation gift. yey!

This camera is quiet cheap as what you expected, BUT! The FILMSS!! yes, the films! are really expensive, for 1 pack of it will cost you Php 360. 00 for 10 shots, which is roughly $ 8 .0 USD, the camera (based on my survery) it will cost you Php 3,800 or $ 85 USD.

I chose pink, coz I love pink! so much. <3

Content <3

Inside the box you will have your Instax Camera, Strap, 2pcs AA batteries and Manuals. The films are sold separately.

My brother bought me 1 single pack which contains 10 shots.. and 1 twin pack which contains 20 shots. The twin pack is Php 680, or $16 USD. Imagine, the film is really.... >.<

Rechargeable batteries 

My brother also bought me these rechargeable batteries, since the batteries included are disposable.. He bought this for Php 638 or $ 14 USD.


Tutorial:

So, let's put the batteries first on the side of the camera.

Then application of the film.

Let's now open the back part of the camera

Okay, so let's now open the back part of our camera, you will see there the yellow line on the camera, you will notice that the cartridge also has that yellow line, so you're just going to connect it with each other.

Don't expect too much about the size of the film, it's just a credit card size photos. If you want to have a bigger photo, you may try their Instax Wide :)

As you unpacked the film, this is the how it looks like, covered with somewhat aluminum foil.

Connecting the yellow line: See to it you aligned it in this way..

Let's now turn our camera, by pressing the lower right part of it. once we pressed it the lens will automatically pulled out and if we want to turn off our camera we just need to push the lens and bang, it's now off. :)

You also have this setting area, in which helps you to identify which setting you need to, for example we have for sunny, cloudy, etc.. and their newest setting is the high key which is applicable if you want to experiment something.

See to it that where the lights on, the point is also on that part.. like what's on the picture..

If the light and the point part is not align, it will have different effects on the film. It may result to a very light shot, or blurred, dark and etc.. So see to it to put the point part where the light is.

S vs. 10

I actually don't know what is the meaning of "S", as well as other people who have instax don't know it.. Hmm. anyway, "s" means you don't have films left, so you need to change it already..

Once you changed the cartridge, the first item that will appear is NOT a film, so don't panic if you're not able to capture something.. it's just a protection of the remaining films you have. Because the films are very sensitive in lights.

Once this protector appeared, the "10" now will come out. Instead of "S" it will now become "10" means you have 10 films left.. and so on..

Let's now take our first shot! Yiieee!

Waiting the color to develop! <3 DON'T SHAKE THE FILM .. It's a big NO NO!!! because there are chemicals in it, if you shake it the color will not as bright as what you expected. This instax is different from the vintage polaroid that needs to shake the film to develop the photo easily..

My first photo <3

Yey! I love it! I super duper mega ultra tera love it! <3 I've been wanting this since before, and finally! I have it. It's really perfect for this coming summer.. or any events that you'll have.

I highly recommend this to all people, especially if you want to preserve the memories you have. As I noticed, phones are fine, but sometimes we really want to see developed photos and it makes us happy again, photos are better than seeing it on our phone.

Also, protect your films from XRAYs.. hmm, I have a problem about that.. what if I travel out of the country? Is it safe to travel? the films? Hmm..

Cons:

- The films are quiet expensive, but it's fine.. coz you don't need an ink to develop the photos. <3 just save every film. don't take selfies every time.

I would like to say sorry for not being 'so active' in my blog these past few days coz of my hectic schedule and a bit of sickness. T.T

Review: Porefect Brush !

Hi Buddies!


I just wanna share this product with you. So if you are suffering from having large pores like I do.. Sometimes when you apply a foundation on your face soap is not enough, there are times that we still need to double wash our face to get rid off any residue.

But don't worry! I have a solution for that and it is "Porefect Brush!"

So this is how it looks like, my sister-in-law just gave this to us and so we gave it a try since I've heard this since before.

It says that this product is really good especially if you have large pores because the micro fiber brush can penetrate in your pores to get rid the residue that your foundation might bring.

We all know that there are foundations that hard to get rid, especially if you don't have a makeup remover. So this one is really a big help.

The brush itself is made up of micro fibers, very thin and smooth it doesn't hurt your face. It also helps you to exfoliate and  can also use this to other parts of your body.

So I'm now going to use this brush.

I'm using this Garnier Pure Active Facial Foam every time I use this brush.

Just wet the brush first and put a small amount of facial foam on it.

Don't apply too much of the soap because pea-sized will go a long way.

Don't forget to wash your face too.

See to it you're using it in a circular motion, don't forget the areas that need to exfoliate the most like our nose, cheeks, or those parts that have large pores and need to be cleansed.

Once you're done you may now wash your brush and let it dry.

You may also hang it if you like.


Overall, my verdict is that...
Yes, it helps me to remove the dirt on my face sometimes soap is really not enough that's why we need something that will help us to eliminate the dirt without hurting ourselves. This is also a travel friendly since it's very small and will fit in our purses. I highly recommend this to you guys. You must try it! :)

My MINI Swimsuit HAUL! ^_^

Hi Lovies!


I'm very excited to share this with you, it's my first time to have this post actually, and also it's my first time to buy these swimsuits.

I bought them in Instagram, the account name is @reafab you may follow here if you want. But I'm not sure if she ships internationally. If you are interested you may contact her :)

She's from Cebu which is quite far from our place but still in the Philippines. That's why the package arrived in 3 days.

She also does Made-to-order (MTO) swimmies, she actually has so many designs to choose from and each swimsuit will cost you only P 270. 00 or roughly $ 6.11 USD, which is really quite cheap compare to other sellers here in Manila that will costs P 450 above per pair or $ 11 USD.

My sister, friends and I bought swimsuits to get the wholesale price and free shipping. I bought 3 pairs of swimmies.

Black / Mint Fringe

This is the first one I bought, it's a fringe mint/ black color that is a tie-knot at the back. All her swimsuits are good for S-M body frame, but if you're size is XS or L, XL you may order the MTO.
About this fringe bandeau.. I'm scared that it might fall when I go to the beach since it doesn't have any straps. haha

Black/White Ruffles

This is my second choice, based on the three swimmies I guess this one is the best swimmie for me, ruffles swimsuits are really cute if you are a flat-chested, the design is also somewhat zebra? It is also tie-knot at the back.

Black , white, coral multiple knots

This is the third swimsuit I got, I love its design because of the multiple knots, of course it gives style and I find it unique, the combination of colors are good especially the coral on the under garment.


Overall, I love these babies!! I want to buy more from her shops, however she has only few designs that are on-hand but different in colors, also most of her on-hand items are only 1 set/pair so once it's sold no more restocking of the item. >.<

But don't worry all her items are in good condition and brand new. It has a good quality and thick cloth, it's also a plus point for me that the padded foams are removable so you can change it whenever you wanted.

I'm now very excited this coming summer, as you all know here in the Philippines we have so many beaches to choose from. That's why I highly recommend my country if you want to have an outing and make yourself tan. :)
