Politics: Trust or Mistrust?
I guess this is the biggest problem all over the world? You may correct me if I'm wrong, but I just believe that there will be no famine, no over population if the politics or government made a right choice. Right choice in a sense that "right" for everybody not only for them.
I ask myself for how many times, aside from having plenty of money. What else they want to achieve? Many Mansions in local or foreign areas? Billions and billions of money whether in Peso or in USD? Based on my 20 years of living, I already know their secrets, hidden agendas and scripted stories. So there's nothing to hide. First, they will promise. Well, we people are fond of promises, that's a given. That's why they hit us in the area which we are weak. A promise that has no basis, a promise that will go after the breeze, I don't know how they can take it and forget as fast as one click.
People trust them because of their gorgeous smiles, brilliant eyes and a halo above. Then what will happen after the people voted them? "Goodbye people, thanks for voting me. See you on next election!" Only that? Nothing more? Yes. Nothing more, what do you expect? Most of the politicians are just for the sake of money, most of them are corrupt. They used our money, countrymen's money to use for their own purposes, for their own needs. I don't know if they still have a faith in God to do such thing.
Mistrust is develop when some promises are not able to grant. How can I trust them, if their face is not trustworthy? Not for being a judgmental person but if you look in their eyes, you can see what is their real identity, you will feel what they need. They want to be rich, not to serve people.
According to the quote I've read " Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often and for the same reason" - Mark Twain
That's why our country won't succeed, because politicians think only about themselves. Maybe my title would be "The Perks of being a Politician". Whether there is someone who wants to make a difference, if other don't like I guess it would be hard, because 2 heads are better than 1.
This is just my opinion. You may correct me if I said something that is inappropriate. :)

Michelle

How to: Make Your Own Hairbow, NO SEW!~
Hi guys and girls!
I know that most of us girls love to wear hair bows. Unfortunately, it's hard to find it in the market or any department store, if there's any for sure it's a bit expensive. But now, there's nothing to worry! Because you may now create your own hair bow, remember that this is NO SEW, so it's hassle free!
These are the things you will be needing to make a hair bow. Glue sticks, a pair of scissors, glue gun, pony tail and fabric. The good thing about making your own bow is that you can choose your own fabric and put your own designs. :)
So let's now proceed.
Step 1: Since you have a square fabric, You may now put some hot glue on top.
Step 2: Then once you're done you may now fold it in half. The step 2 picture will indicate how it must be looked like.
Step 3: You may now start putting hot glue on the bottom fabric and fold as well.
Step 4: Will show you how it must be looked like once you're done.
Step 5: After the step 4, it's now time to cut it side by side. So you will get rid of the tangled fabric.
Step 6: Once you're done in step 5, you may now put a hot glue on each side then fold it in half like what the picture above.
Step 7: Put a hot glue on the other side as well.
Step 8: Once you're done, your fabric will be like this.
Since we are done with our bow, it's now time to make the mid fabric.
Step 9: Get a piece of fabric, as small as 6 inches in length and 2.5 inches in width.
Step 10: Glue the half of it and fold into half.
Step 11: Glue the bottom part and fold into half again. Your mid fabric must be like in Step 11 picture.
Step 12: I used my hands to create a curve on my bow. I also considered it as a technique to have a beautiful bow.
Step 13: Once you're done putting some curves, you may now put the mid fabric and put a hot glue at the back of the bow.
Step 14: See to it that you put enough glue to stay it in place. Don't forget to put a small glue on the center to place your ponytail or clip if you have.
Step 15: That's our final product! We're done! :)
So this is the bow that I made and I'm now looking forward to see yours! :)
Anyway, these are the bows that I have.
I bought most of them, hope you guys enjoy! :))

The Wrecking GLENDA
After I celebrated my 20th birthday last July 15th. There's a super typhoon named Glenda and she stayed in the Philippine Area of Responsibility for 2 days (July 16th and 17th), I guess? She landed specifically here in Metro Manila and this what had happened in our place.
Since there was a big bark fall down from a tree, the vehicles are not able to pass through the road so they need to go to the other road which considered as "long-cut" road.
Since we're not able to contact any government agencies who can help us with regards to our problem. What the people did in our place, they decided to cut the big tree and It's just a heart whelming action because they helped each other without asking for a reward and by that sense it made them considered as a real Bayani or Hero.
The feeling is different when you helped other people by all your heart. That feeling cannot be stolen no matter what happened, my father also helped putting the debris on either side so vehicles can pass through the road.
And like what they said, Filipinos no matter what happened, no matter how many typhoons we have. We still put smile on our face, and that's how Filipinos became Unique.
Love,
Michelle
The typhoon was very strong because of the heavy breeze it has, too many trees were broke. However, the rain itself is not that heavy compared to the previous super typhoon that we had, like Milenyo and Ondoy.
Since we're not able to contact any government agencies who can help us with regards to our problem. What the people did in our place, they decided to cut the big tree and It's just a heart whelming action because they helped each other without asking for a reward and by that sense it made them considered as a real Bayani or Hero.

Memoir 101: Run Michelle RUUNNN !!!
There are memories that we remembered because it was so funny, so sad or sometimes because we hurt so much. During my college days, I experienced a lot and it made me grew as a person. Your college days won’t be complete if you don’t experience silly things done by your friends with you. That’s why I can say “Experience is the best Teacher”. You will really learn a lot from it.
The most unforgettable moment that I have was last December 2010, so 4 years ago I was 16 years old. Since it was December, we had a vacation to my Auntie’s house in Calamba, Laguna. I have my niece whose age was 9 years old and my youngest brother which was 10 years old.
So the story goes like this.
My niece named Joyce asked us to go to Jollibee (a fast food chain that is popular in the Philippines), since she’s going to treat us, we immediately said “yes!”. That’s the funny part when you want to ask your friend to join you, just say the magic word and he/she will go with you. Anyway, so we went to Jollibee, we ate and we’re so full.
When we’re now on our way to their house there were 2 large breed dogs, I was on my way to open the gate when the brown dog bark on me and I was like stocked on my position didn’t know what to do. Because the dogs didn’t have any dog lace and so it freaked me out. So what I did, since I was the older I should protect my niece and my brother. Then I scared the dogs with my hands (like I’m going to punch them) and said Go! Go! Go, but they kept on barking me. I really don’t know what to do, I can’t think of any so I run. I left my brother and my niece, it’s like survival of the fittest. I run and run don’t know where to go and I kept on shouting “heeelpp! Heeellppp usss! Somebody help us!” and I look on my back my brother also run and my niece was stacked, well. She was the last who run that’s why the 2 dogs also run after her.
Then after a moment, their kasambahay or housemaid went out from their house and started to scare the dogs with her stick, and so we went inside the house we rest for a while. Then we started to recap what happened. We’re laughing because it’s like a very silly thing, we forgot each other and run by our own.
So that’s it, until now every time I imagined that, I suddenly laugh. Also, that is the reason why I’m already scared of street dogs. I’m afraid they will chase me again, so now I already proved that “Experience is the best Teacher”
Love,
Michelle
